Textbooks

  • How do I know what books I need?

    Login to our account, and click on the "My Curriculum" tab. Please allow up to 24 hours for any schedule changes to be reflected in My Curriculum. Alternatively, click here to manually enter your course schedule to view your booklist.

  • Are my textbooks tax-free?

    Yes, we do not charge sales tax on textbooks at the USU Campus Store.

  • When are books available for the upcoming semester?

    We begin receiving books about 5 weeks before the term begins. Shop early to get the best selection of new and used books.

  • When do you start returning unsold textbooks to the publishers?

    We begin returning unsold textbooks as early as 3 weeks into the start of the term. Buy all the books you need early to avoid delays in reordering.

  • When can I sell my textbooks back to the Campus Store?

    You can sell textbooks at Textbook Buyback at the end of the semester. Buyback value is based on the current market value and the number of professor requests for each title for the next term. The Logan store also holds a daily buyback from 8 AM to 4 PM Monday through Friday, except the last business day of each month.

  • Can I order a book that is not in-stock?

    You can place a prepaid Special Order for the book at our Textbook Counter in the Logan store, or by calling (800) 662-3950. Special Orders will be available for pick up within 1-2 weeks from the date the order is placed and will be held for up to 7 days.

  • How do I rent my books?

    If a book is available to rent, the rental price will be displayed (both in-store and online). When you choose to rent, you must accept the rental agreement and provide collateral payment information. You can use the book all semester and return it at the end of the semester.

  • What is your return policy?

  • Should I buy new or used?

    Some may want new textbooks free from marks and highlighting. Others may prefer to save by purchasing used textbooks, but they are in high demand, so shop early!

  • Computers and Technology

  • Can I get a discount on computers?

    We offer excellent educational computer discounts available to USU students, faculty, and staff. Please contact our Aggie Tech department by calling (435) 797-2322.

  • Does the Campus Store sell tax-free computers and educational materials?

    Yes! Educational technology items are tax-free; these include computers, Apple products, and calculators.
