Located on the first floor of the Taggart Student Center on the Logan Main Campus, the USU Campus Store has a rich history dating all the way back to 1904.
When it was first opened in Old Main, under its original name, USU Bookstore, books were not more than five dollars. Back then, popular items among students were watercolors and 5¢ pencils.
During rush week, only 31 customers were allowed in the store at a time, leaving many of the 4,000 students at the university waiting for hours in line. To accommodate everyone, the store stayed open from 8 AM to midnight. Serving each student took 5–20 minutes, ensuring all students received their books.
